Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) Laptop

Xiaomi Laptops from Ireland

The Xiaomi laptop, or Xiaomi laptops in general, broke the market from the first moment they went on sale and began to become popular worldwide. The value for money they offered in terms of features, design and versatility was unbeatable, and still is. They, including the Xiaomi Redmibook 15 Pro Laptop, are often compared to Apple Macbooks for their quality, but at a fraction of the price.

Until now, the main problem was getting a Xiaomi laptop. Either they were in short supply, or carried the Chinese label, or took a long time to ship, or were subject to unexpected fees, or equipped with foreign features. This was especially true for those looking for an English-ready Xiaomi laptop from Ireland with a warranty.

You have noticed that I was speaking in the past tense so far, right? Welcome to the present. Finally, Xiaomi laptops are coming to Ireland from Xiaomi Home, the only official Xiaomi shop in Ireland to sell the prestigious Xiaomi laptops with warranty and shipping from Ireland, adapted to English.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) Laptop from Ireland: introduction

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) is the newest laptop in the Mi Notebook range. The most famous and best in performance ultrabook type of Xiaomi laptops.

For this very reason, the Mi Notebook has always been recognized as Xiaomi’s top of the line. Not only in terms of laptops, but also in smartphones, for example. In fact, the arch-named Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro laptop was the Xiaomi laptop that put the rest on the map, back in 2018 – 2019.

With this new edition of the famous Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X, the flagship of Xiaomi laptops, is how Xiaomi seeks to set the trend in the field of ultrabooks, with some of the most advanced features seen so far in a laptop of this type, so thin and with just 1.6kg.

Thus, it is surprising how much Xiaomi has managed to integrate within such a limited space, achieving a team of the highest level on a global scale. Let’s take a look at its main features:

• • Made entirely of metal with a weight of 1.6kg.
  • Intel i7-11370H processor with up to 4.8 GHz.
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 dedicated graphics 4GB GDDR6.
  • 512GB of ultrafast SSD storage
  • 14″ inch Super Retina display in 2.5K resolution with an anti-glare LCD panel, TÜV Rheinland certification and Corning Gorilla Glass reinforced glass.
  • 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 4266MHz RAM memory
  • 56Wh battery with Thunderbolt 4 type C charger with ultra-fast charging at 100W, allowing you to charge up to 50% of the battery in just 35 minutes and, mind you, it can last up to 11 hours!

The Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) from Ireland has, for the moment, only one processor option, the Intel i7-11370H, both combinable with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics.

More in detail, the Intel i7-11370H processor is 11th generation, reaches 4.8GHz of power in turbo and 3.3GHz in normal, and has 4 cores (quadcore) and 8 threads, with three levels of cache at 12MB.

2) Xiaomi laptop graphics card from Ireland

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) Ireland has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 with 4GB dedicated, a very scarce and sought after board in the current market, which incorporates the new NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ Architecture technologies such as ray tracing and DLSS. With it you will be able to play all games, even the latest generation games, with medium – high settings.

If we still wanted more in this field, we only have one option right now, and we should go to a quite different type of laptop. The range of Xiaomi Gaming laptops where we find graphics cards with up to 6GB dedicated, where, without a doubt, we will be able to play any game with the graphics specifications to the maximum.

4) RAM memory of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) Ireland Laptop

The laptop comes with 16GB of dual-channel LPDDR4X RAM at 4,266 MHz. This is a clear statement of intent in terms of power and quality, which is apparent in every aspect of this laptop. Moreover, it is a huge improvement over the 2666MHz carried by the other Xiaomi laptops presented to date.

5) Storage space of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 Laptop

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) features 512GB SSD storage. Very important to note that this is SSD storage space, something that is starting to become quite common among mid-range and high-end laptops, and of course, in all Xiaomi laptops, which makes the whole computer go much faster. As far as we know so far, it is not expandable.

6) Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) Laptop design

This is a field where all Xiaomi laptops, especially those launched more recently (from 2018 onwards), stand out enormously. Let’s be clear: if you start looking, you will find another laptop with similar specifications at a technical level. Now, when you ask these ones:

• • That they have a “transportable” weight (living up to their “portable” name).
  • An elegant, slim, professional, minimalist, subtle design (can you tell I like its design? I’ll stop now, sorry!)
  • And that it is built with premium materials (all-metal).

All this “put together” in the clean and organized way of Xiaomi laptops from Ireland, you can go quietly at prices ranging from double that of Xiaomi laptops, up to 3-4 times more, being their close cousins the Apple MacBook.

And even so, you will never be able to count on the reliability and confidence that what you have in your hands is a Xiaomi laptop. There is a reason why their smartphones have become number 1 in sales in Spain in less than 1 year since they landed here, right? Well now take that, and apply it to their laptops. That said, let’s get down to business.

With a clean and modern finish, made of pure metal to keep the equipment cool at all times and resistant to bumps, drops and scratches, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) laptop features a 14″ inch screen (which we will talk about in detail in a moment in the next section).

The difference lies in the thin margins of the screen, with an excellent screen-to-space ratio, making the most of the available space and enhancing its appearance.

7) Laptop screen Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) Ireland

This Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 14 (2021) laptop mounts a super-thin 14″ inch 2.5K Super Retina display. Built with super tough Corning Gorilla Glass.

And not only that, it has a brightness of 300 nits. The 2.5K resolution is exactly 2560 x 1600, which gives us a PPI of 216 dots. In addition to a screen-to-body ratio of 88%.

It boasts a contrast ratio of, mind you, 1,000,000:1 with up to 1.07 billion colors and 100% DCI-P3 with a screen ratio of 16:10.

In fact, it has so many top quality certifications, some of which we didn’t even know about. All of them basically honor the extreme quality of the screen, the realism and breadth of its colors, and the safety for our eyes to be in front of it for hours.

Finally, it presents a viewing angle of 170º and Delta E ≈ 1.5 (typical value).
